My October Favorites

Here are some of the resources, links, and loves from the past month or two.

This is how a pizza commercial is filmed — Fascinating.

This American Life — I know this is basically the most famous podcast out there, but I only recently got into it.

Where Is Real Peace Found? — Randy Alcorn and his wife Nanci recently received some incredibly difficult news but they’re faithfully trusting in the Lord. This is beautiful and encouraging.

Ellen DeGeneres on being kind — I don’t post too many clips of Ellen, but this one was a good one.

Shai Linne weighs in on Kanye West — I really liked one of my favorite Christian rappers’ take on Kanye West’s conversion and new album.

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah — For me, no book will be able to top her novel The Nightingale, but this more recent novel was still a masterpiece.

Choosing Gratitude by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth — This book is super convicting but so, so practical and beneficial. With American Thanksgiving coming up, now’s a great time to read it.

Crunchy leaves — Nuff said.

Hot chocolate — It’s finally cold-weather season!!

Laffy Taffy — My favorite Halloween candy (that’s also rather underrated).
