Last night, we had a Christian music family come to our church and put on a gospel concert. I was introduced to a lovely song by Lianna LeLessew, called "Song for Canada." It was funny because you might notice that the point of the song is calling out for God to heal our land. On Sunday, our memory verse for Sunday School was 2 Chronicles 7:14 ~ "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." We must notice that God will only heal our land if we do our part: humble ourselves, pray and seek God's face, and turn from our wicked ways. This song may be written for Canada, but the message can be applied to any nation.
